MSOSA app for iPhone and iPad

An exclusive application for MSOSA, the alumni of The Modern School, Barakhamba, New Delhi.

Most features are for Old Students only (Sign In is post a verification and approval by the MSOSA Office). Some features, like the E-Sandesh, Modrnites in the News and Social Work by Modernites are accessible to all.

The App allows Old Students to connect with each other and the community as a whole, message each other privately and in interest based Groups, to receive notifications on MSOSA events, social and business ventures undertaken by Modernites, a jobs and careers section (for Modernites and professionals Modernites recommend for jobs), and to get a detailed, search enabled view of each others professional and personal profiles.

The App maintains the highest levels of encrypted cloud based security.

Further measures are takes to ensure that the quality of interaction between Old Students is of a certain standard of integrity. All private messages and interactions in the common rooms are rated to display the usefulness of a members messages and comments; and, the total number blocks and black lists accrued by an individual member.

Modernites using the app are requested to create an online space of support, acceptance, humour, camaraderie, honour, usefulness and integrity.

As Modernites, living up to the ideals set by our founders and our experiences in school, we aim to give back to society at large. To further this endeavour we have the Social Work and Gurupranam section that showcases actions undertaken by Modern’s alums towards our teachers and society at large to serve as inspiration for fellow Modernites to join them in these, and to start new initiatives to serve the common good of our fellow beings.

Our aim at MSOSA is to create a community of friendship and service into which a student enters - a place for self-realization, and the creation of strong wills, as our motto purposes.
